I'm quite aware that it's a secondary activity for all you guys, and you are doing a great job. But i'm sure you can squeeze an approximate ETA date, based on what you have done so far and what is still needed to be done. I'm just so impatient to get my hands on new UPB release :) By the way the date does not have to be exact like 2007 07 07, all I would like to hear is year and quarter :) For example 2008 Q4 :)

let's just say that if this is UPB 2.0 BETA 1.4 running right now, UPB 2.0 BETA 2 is UPB 3.0 compared to it.

hey guys, its the summer now so im really free and looking for something to do during my mornings.

i signed up for this c++ course at the local college but its way below my level... i finished the week's work before monday's first lecture ended, so im looking for side projects i can work on and thought hey... upb is entering 2.0 isnt it :D

would love to be able to code some parts of upb, to familiarize myself with the whole system.. most interested in the template system though, i think its gonna be the defining feature of upb.
Hi! I'm steak.

UPB WILL BE STRONG ONCE MORE =D

I can really see the modding community starting up again with some of the new features that Pilot has been discussing.

One thing I think we'll have to investigate eventually is the possibility of getting this running off a mysql/sqlite database (I actually have an idea on how this MIGHT be possible with little code changes, but I havent tested my idea yet). Flexibility like that would just be awesome!
